Description: In Acts 1:6 the disciples asked the risen Lord if He was about to restore the Kingdom of Israel. Were they mistaken about Jesus’ purposes? Isn’t His kingdom in the heart’s of believers? Words from Amos chapter 9 are quoted in Acts chapter 15. Does this indicate that Israel’s restoration was in the past? Or could there be a future Kingdom? A theocratic kingdom of Israel?
